In April 2025, THE A sponsored the Young Business Club Berlin anniversary. THE A’s original note records the attendance of co-owners Anton Gomza and Artem Shapovalov and describes the audience as entrepreneurs, investors and members of the international business community. No attendance figure, client mandate or outcome is asserted here.

A deliberately narrow factual record

The source confirms sponsorship, the Berlin setting, the April 2025 timing and the named attendance. It describes conversations with entrepreneurs already operating in Europe or considering relocation and scale. It does not provide an independently verified attendee count, programme, transcript or list of resulting engagements.

That boundary protects both the participants and the company. A completed event belongs in the news archive with a visible date; it should not be repackaged as an evergreen service page or anonymous testimonial.

Relocation is several decisions, not one form

A founder moving to Germany while keeping a company elsewhere may change personal tax residence, company management, payroll, social security, permanent-establishment exposure and bank expectations at different times. Incorporation, residence permission and tax residence are connected but not interchangeable.

The first useful conversation identifies dates and control: where the founder slept, worked and made decisions; which company employed or paid them; where contracts were performed; and what accounts or assets moved. Only then can local advisers define the legal and tax work.

  • Personal move date and family/home facts
  • Company decision-making and signing authority
  • Employment, payroll and social-security position
  • Client delivery, invoicing and bank activity
  • Existing structures that may become reportable

A better brief for a cross-border founder

Bring a one-page timeline, group chart, list of countries, expected move date, company accounts and contracts, rather than a request for the “best country”. State the commercial objective: live in Berlin, hire in Germany, raise capital, preserve an overseas operation or sell.

The correct response may require German tax counsel, immigration counsel, payroll and advisers in the company’s existing jurisdiction. A coordinating adviser should name those dependencies rather than pretend one opinion covers every country.

Archive and publication discipline

This page records a completed April 2025 event. It is not an invitation, endorsement by attendees or evidence of a client relationship.

Future updates should add only consented images, named speakers, programme materials or measurable follow-up that can be verified. General relocation observations remain educational and require individual review.
